Photographer: Todd Pizzini, Kent, Washington
Image Title: Solduc Falls Bridge
Category: Landscape

Technical Details: Pentax 6x7, Pentax 55mm lens, f/16 for 2 seconds, Konica 750 infrared film, Bogen tripod
Location: Solduc Rainforest, Olympic National Park
Description: Our Pacific Northwest rainforests are a rare and truly unique treasure for all of us. The Solduc Bridge is simply made from national forest products. To me, it looks like it fits in well with the natural environment. Man's interaction with nature doesn't have to detract from nature, but can blend with it.

Todd Pizzini is a Kent, Washington-based photographer who specializes in black and white infrared landscape and scenic photography. Having returned to the Northwest in July 2000 from a three-year photo-adventure cruise on their 31-foot sailboat, Todd and his wife Cathy opened Pizzini Photographics in November 2002.

Although Todd has been photographing with IR film for over fifteen years, the trip from Alaska, through Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean cemented the bond between Todd and infrared.

Pizzini Photographics offers images for sale and license on their website, and will be attending art fairs in Anacortes, Bellevue and Kirkland, Washington.
